Our Story
At its heart, The Socials Group is about bringing the right people together: creators, brands, and a community that supports one another as they build something meaningful.
Before The Socials Group existed, our founder Emily Jayne Russell was navigating social media in the same way many creators still do today: alone. Like many people building something online, she experienced both the excitement and the uncertainty that comes with it. Social media offered incredible opportunity, but it could also feel isolating, confusing, and at times discouraging.
There were very few places to ask honest questions, learn from others, or feel supported while building something long term. The industry often felt competitive rather than collaborative, and many creators were trying to figure things out on their own. Emily realised that what was missing wasn’t just opportunity — it was community. So she began creating one herself.
What started as conversations with other creators, helping friends navigate brand collaborations, and sharing advice about the industry slowly grew into something larger. More creators began connecting, brands began reaching out, and it became clear there was space for something more structured.
That early network eventually became The Socials Group. Today, The Socials Group works across social media marketing for brands, creator partnerships, and education through the Socials Academy. But at its core, the purpose has remained the same as it was in the beginning: to create a space where people in the social media industry feel supported, connected, and able to grow. Because while social media is often seen as an individual journey, the reality is that people grow faster and more confidently when they are part of a community.

Founder & CEO
Emily founded The Socials Group with the vision of creating a more supportive and structured space within the social media industry. Her focus is on building meaningful connections between brands and creators, while shaping the long-term direction of the Socials Group.
Niamh Cusack
Managing & Creative Director
Niamh leads the strategic and creative development and operations of The Socials Group, supporting its growth across all areas of the business. She focuses on building the systems, partnerships, and structure that allow the agency and wider network to scale.
Leah Sarah
Brand Executive
Leah works closely with brands to support the development and delivery of campaigns, ensuring each partnership is thoughtfully aligned and professionally executed. She plays a key role in maintaining strong brand relationships while ensuring collaborations run smoothly from initial concept through to completion.
Georgia Wood
Talent & Modelling Executive
Georgie supports creators in developing their confidence, presence, and overall performance within the industry. As a international model, she specialises in guiding our creators to elevate their on-camera presence, and navigate opportunities within modelling and content creation.
Charley Chatha
Head of Personal Relations
Charley leads on building and nurturing relationships across The Socials Group community, ensuring both creators and brands feel consistently supported and valued. Her role focuses on creating a positive, connected environment where long-term relationships can grow naturally.
